Hit The Road (*)

Moved On
Back to belong
Dirty Laundry
Better than clean
Just a thought away from you
When you walked into the room

Blanket's wet
Bed is clear
Wallet Search
Gifts are thrown
Just a fight away from you
When you walked out of the room

No return
Empty chair
Air is dry
Smoke is in my lung
Just a song away from you
when you started to sing

Waving hands
Leave in faith
Chase no more
Trembling feet
Just a footstep away from you
When I was said Goodbye

Close the door
Bolt and lock
Airily
Roll and roll
Just a smile away from me
When you came back for the kill

LA to Bombay ( A Mid Summer's Dream )

Water trickling slowly down the screen
Pellets of moonshine beaming through its gleam
I could only see into the night it seemed
Black and gray and blue and green
She takes her coat off and flings it on the side
Tightly she pulls the belt, sets in for the ride
Once I'd seen the colours my eyes opened up wide
She was going home, she joyfully smiled

Soft piano strung keys into my brain
My frame of thought could not be cut off by another train
I could only see into the night, my past it felt slain
I gave in to the moment like the trickling water felt the rain
Wheels rolled on slow, dragging a whirlpool of soul
Endorsing a love affair with the sky, penetrating its hole
Plunging right into the clouds, time had hit the pole
She wore her coat on and asked "Aren't you going home?"

Imagine

I got my water, soda bottle
And a box of pills
She got her sketch book, colour pencils
And some coffee bills
I took the long way
But i reached on time
She never came
On her way she died

Played in the sand
And we made some castles too
Watched the sun set
And some silly movies too
We fell asleep
But i woke up good
She never did
In my dreams she died

I got my Tee Shirt, skateboard
And my canvas shoes
She got her hippie talk, poetry
And some travelling blues
We sang aloud
And i was on time
She changed colours
And just like that she died

Happy Decadence

Piece by piece
I fill the void
The wholeness, of which I fear

Knife by knife
I carve on the wall
The bricks, with which I built it

Sip by sip
I take the gulp
The ocean in which I drown in

Is there any more filth
That my greed can be with
Is there any pure dimension
That this brain can be in

Word by word
I fill this page
The joke of which I cry about

Hate by hate
I spread the words
The anger of which I joke about

Fear by fear
I frantically move
The feeling of which I rejoice about

Is there any more life
That my soul can be with
Is there any impure dimension
That this brain cannot be in

Step by step
I climb the ladder
The fall of which i rely upon

Song by song
I catch the tune
The rhythm of which I offbeat about

Day by day
I waste the week
The month of which I procrastinate

Are there any more years
Left to be calculated
Are there any more decades
Left to be manipulated

Strawberry Girl

Isn't she the sweetest girl you've ever met
Yeah i fell in love right after she said "Hey"
Banged my head just like you do in a movie set
She took a cigarette and then she said "Goodbye"

Ohhh I wanna see you once more
So i could tell you who i really am
But more than anything, i really wanna know
Is that this ain't just another one night stand

She's got flowers for hair and marbles for eye balls
She's got feathers for hands and wings for soul
She's got tiny little ambitions and big monumental dreams
She's got everything, but what is really "everything"?

Ohhh i wanna take you around the world
So we could find out who we really are
But more than anywhere, i really wanna take a ride
Is where, this wouldn't be just another one night stand

Isn't she the most sweetest girl you've ever met?

Needs

Human Beings are like animals
They need to be tamed
Politicians are like thieves
They need to be blamed
Peace pushers are always ignored
They need to be famed
I am like a wild beast
I need to be caged

Nature's so beautiful
It needs to be free
Amigos are like brothers
They need to run in three's
Flowers are so mighty
They need to be more like trees
I am like a prisoner
I need to find a way to flee

My confidence is so rusted
It needs to always shine
My direction is so overturned
It needs to be in line
My happiness is so boring
It needs to never whine
You are so real
You need to be mine

Settling Down

Are we settling down
I am your abused pawn
Are we moving slow
You shot me like i am a foe

You're my friend you say
Knives that we drew
At midnight we burnt out a new day
No, not much left of our crew

We ruled the universe together
And now its time to halt the train
Will bruise you dead forever
The bullet that hit my brain

Forever

Are we hiding inside
Tangled up in lies
Are we keeping the score
You enthrone what you adore

You're my master you say
Gun Man shows the way
At dusk, we burnt out another town
On the grave, place my crown

We ruled the universe together
And now its time to halt the train
Will bruise you dead forever
The bullet that hit my brain
We stare at the devil right in the eye
And i fell head first into the grave
You laugh hysterically at my fate
But you will always be a slave

I am settling down
Are you still in hiding
I am moving slow
Are you still keeping the score

A Girl Called Perseida

All along the watchtower
We waited silently
Waiting for her shower
And all her mysteries
Forget who you are
It's time to get high
There's a blazing fire warning
Advertised in the sky

She's trying to communicate
With what's left on this earth
Madness and confusion
is what we have become
Don't run in circles
Stay right where you are
She's a lava spitting dynamite
Her name is Perseida

Of Daffodils and Unicorns

This girl i know, she likes just about anything
No, but she don't think she likes me
She wants to move away from where she belongs
In hope her life starts to get better
No, i ain't gonna try to stop her
Playin' around with nature just ain't my thing
I don't know how this song can sound so happy
When all i feel is sadness and grief beneath

Oh wont you turn around and stay right here
Where the daffodils bloom and the unicorns sleep
Oh wont you let me take you out on another drive
Where the roads are wide and never ending

This girl i knew, she once said she likes me
No, but later she said it was just a joke
She wanted money and things just like every other
In hope her life starts to get better
No, all i wanted was some real love
Things could wait and money just ain't my thing
I don't know how this song can sound so sad
When all i feel is joy and mirth beneath

Oh wont you turn around and walk away
where the sun cries and the moon quakes
Oh wont you let me shake your hands
Where the lifelines, they cease to exist

Disconnected

Share the light with the butterflies
I draw circles on this wall
This wall, that closes in and out
As time draws mazes in my head
She sighs a dead tear on her cheek
I draw a smiling frown on mine

How we try to be who we are not
And yet we say we are nothing at all
How we wake up to find out we never really slept
And yet we dream all the time

Share the darkness with the ghosts
I draw walls around my door
My door, that is always closed
As mazes draw time lags in my head
She tries to strangle herself with wires
I draw knives to cut mine off

How we pretend to share all the time
And yet give nothing at all
How we try to stay connected
Though wires, walls and time

That Old Hag Down The Farm

On a green marshy farm
An old hag, she rants
About the surprise and alarm
Of the new war, the town cranks

Clearly as she remembers
When she was a little girl
Her daddy along with the other plumbers
Gave that broken shower knob, a twirl

Out sprinkled some drops
Many green coins flew
And soon all the crops
Were cut to nothing more than few

So the mayor, who recently was elected
Corrupt, but charming, a merchant of "change"
On the black marshy farms, a green mine he seated
Selling "hope" to them, whose minds were out of range

He went on expanding his new found glory
Earning popularity from the masses,a subtle way to cheat
"We can Change", "We can do it", oh what a story!
Using naivety, just like a butcher does his meat

Like midas of old, he went on to sell his soul
Along with pots of gold, a superpower he claimed he was
Soon the greed was invaded by those who were addicted to coal
Madness and riots were replaced by most of his flaws

And so the town, now just a flat piece of land
Dried up and forgotten and raised down to hell
All that remains is the old hag and a taste so bland
Who sips the water and spits it back, down that new wishing well

Clearly as she wishes
When she was a little girl
The masses and the classes
Had not given that broken shower knob, a twirl

Optimistic

In my dreams, i have seen
A wave of sunrays, gushing

In my dreams, i have seen
A pool of clouds, rippling

In my dreams, i have seen
A shadow of horizons, forming

In my dreams i have seen
A mirage of sand dunes, castling

In my dreams, i have seen
A mist of fogs, reappearing

In my dreams, i have seen
A flock of birds, orchastrating

In my dreams, i have seen
A shower of ice cream, raining

In my dreams, i have seen
A labyrinth of love, simplifying

In my dreams, i have seen
A landfill of black holes, shutting

In my dreams, i have seen
A race of ambitions, galloping

In my dreams, i have seen
A cluster of galaxies, uniting

In my dreams, i have seen
A freedom of souls, rising

In my nightmares, i have seen
Dreams of me, sleeping

There There

Here, i feel so alone
Lost amidst closing in walls
Here, the lights dont shine no more
Gets dimmer every passing hour
Here, the war is on a break
Cold and silent like the night
Here, the ocean is a desert
Cactus and drought in every sense

Here, the dream is a ghost
Hoping to one day sleep to death
Here, the paradise is sleeping
Waking only to know it is still alive
Here, the landfill has risen
Replacing blood in all of the streams
Here, the virus will not heal
Infecting the mind to feel free

Here, i wanna get there

"I try so hard to forget us
Your memories just dont seem to fade
How i would beg for one more chance
Even i know i am far too late"

- Me, but i am sure its written before (not necessarily in that order)

The Saga Of My Driving License

DDGCGD

D

Got a Texas Driving License on a Tuesday

They draft the white trash here first by the way

Done four trips to the DMV, all my life

Came back home and i decided, i am done this time

Revved up my engine and i drove to downtown

Sat in my cubicle and i slammed it all down

GCGD

Now my manager, came along and he called me a slack

So i said, its all your fault and i gave him a whack

Put my feet, on the table and lit a cuban cigar

Stole his car keys and i disappeared into a bar

If Looks Could Kill

The nurse turned around
And she looked at me
She said she aint got the remedy
To set me free
I said i dont need the pills
So let it be
I am a little blind but if you undress
Then maybe i can see

If looks could kill, then baby i am ogling at you
If you're in for the thrill, then i am runnin up the prison for you
Whew!

The teacher strokes her hair
While her clip falls down
Waves rushing out
Like a smile in a frown
I said keep smilin' baby
cause we're gettin out of this town
I will make you my queen
And you will wear a crown

If looks could kill, then baby i am ogling at you
If you're in for the thrill, then i am runnin up the prison for you
Whew!

Kickstart this love machine
Break these bars of steel
I am lying here, without your feel
And dont look at me, cause i wanna kill

Yeah i wanna kill!

Zilch

Listless Wait
Young girls screaming
Urethane skate
California dreaming

Bright Lights shine
Dull cricket game
Juvenile fights and whine
Its all the same

Ticking clocks
Traffic Jam
Dandruff socks
Expired ham

James Bond spoof
Add to the shopping cart
Stay under the roof
Learn this art

Get the job done
A shallow heart
A web well spun
Stab me with a dart

A lie here
A lie there
Everything to fear
Nothing to spare

Bulletproof your mind
Six barrel shotgun
i am not your kind
i am no one

Ear drums dry
Run to the hill
Its time to fly
Without a pill

All that we are, we are Zilch
All that we are, we are Zilch

The pills dont work

2 kegs
Weak legs
Back hammered
Week shattered

Uninvited
Still late
Back Home
Keys are lost

Messed up
Drugged up
Internet tv
Snot 'n' Sniffy

Bedroom
Bathroom
Whatever you do
Stay out of my room

Look sick
Feel sick
Cheap flick
Masturbate it

No car
No house
No drive
Cant get a high five

Torn clothes
Dirt weather
Half friends
Dont change these trends

Head dull
Eyes red
Legs shake
For paranoia's sake

Fever thrill
Turmeric milk
Girlfriend's skin
Feels like silk

Give me the Pills

Standstill shadows
Offbeat mirages
Locked up doors
Iron plated cages

Restless sleep
Unaccelerated drive
Wounds slit deep
Fingers less than five

Trusted Lies
Halted time
Malice rise
Organized crime

Plastic guns
Cant handle stress
Homeless bums
Light the gas

A baby's head
Oil for free
Father's dead
murder in first degree

Skinless feet
A cheating wife
Face the heat
A cosmetic life

A scandal today
Hall of Fame
A six dollar pay
Its all the same

We got the bombs
Sex with three
Give me the pills
I am not free

Wake from this daze
Where the horizon meets the sky
Sleep with this laze
Carried on from last night's high

The Wrong Edge Of A Diamond

Shadows
Cast Deep Inside
Fill up the restless void

Shivering while the tan creeps around
Bottled safe inside are my confusingly varying plans
Compromised by cold momentary reminders of my nonexistent past

Awake, she tried desperately to wake me from my disturbing sleep
Sleep, she still snoozes in peace on a violin’s dream
Dreams, an eddy of a sober hallucination

Circles in a lost diamond
Trick the shadows
Inside

How very Iron Maiden.. I should have been their official songwriter

From the dark age of the icicles
The tyrant leads forward
Time decedes to hollow
The vulture takes on its prey
Darkness whispers a death
Cunning and sorrowfull
Day in and night out
Screaming crows and owls shout

Buried by sands of time
A new soul and machine is found
Engraved in the souls of men
Hell is perished and vitory is sought
The sword is raised, glory's unbound
Defeat is in sight, the Queen is crowned
The gold is taken, Satan is a mule
Evil decays, the brave are back to rule

"Any one can write songs
But that does not make him a songwriter"
.. Anonymous guy on 93.1 Jack FM ( Hell A radio station)
