Strawberry Girl

Isn't she the sweetest girl you've ever met
Yeah i fell in love right after she said "Hey"
Banged my head just like you do in a movie set
She took a cigarette and then she said "Goodbye"

Ohhh I wanna see you once more
So i could tell you who i really am
But more than anything, i really wanna know
Is that this ain't just another one night stand

She's got flowers for hair and marbles for eye balls
She's got feathers for hands and wings for soul
She's got tiny little ambitions and big monumental dreams
She's got everything, but what is really "everything"?

Ohhh i wanna take you around the world
So we could find out who we really are
But more than anywhere, i really wanna take a ride
Is where, this wouldn't be just another one night stand

Isn't she the most sweetest girl you've ever met?

Needs

Human Beings are like animals
They need to be tamed
Politicians are like thieves
They need to be blamed
Peace pushers are always ignored
They need to be famed
I am like a wild beast
I need to be caged

Nature's so beautiful
It needs to be free
Amigos are like brothers
They need to run in three's
Flowers are so mighty
They need to be more like trees
I am like a prisoner
I need to find a way to flee

My confidence is so rusted
It needs to always shine
My direction is so overturned
It needs to be in line
My happiness is so boring
It needs to never whine
You are so real
You need to be mine

Settling Down

Are we settling down
I am your abused pawn
Are we moving slow
You shot me like i am a foe

You're my friend you say
Knives that we drew
At midnight we burnt out a new day
No, not much left of our crew

We ruled the universe together
And now its time to halt the train
Will bruise you dead forever
The bullet that hit my brain

Forever

Are we hiding inside
Tangled up in lies
Are we keeping the score
You enthrone what you adore

You're my master you say
Gun Man shows the way
At dusk, we burnt out another town
On the grave, place my crown

We ruled the universe together
And now its time to halt the train
Will bruise you dead forever
The bullet that hit my brain
We stare at the devil right in the eye
And i fell head first into the grave
You laugh hysterically at my fate
But you will always be a slave

I am settling down
Are you still in hiding
I am moving slow
Are you still keeping the score

A Girl Called Perseida

All along the watchtower
We waited silently
Waiting for her shower
And all her mysteries
Forget who you are
It's time to get high
There's a blazing fire warning
Advertised in the sky

She's trying to communicate
With what's left on this earth
Madness and confusion
is what we have become
Don't run in circles
Stay right where you are
She's a lava spitting dynamite
Her name is Perseida

Of Daffodils and Unicorns

This girl i know, she likes just about anything
No, but she don't think she likes me
She wants to move away from where she belongs
In hope her life starts to get better
No, i ain't gonna try to stop her
Playin' around with nature just ain't my thing
I don't know how this song can sound so happy
When all i feel is sadness and grief beneath

Oh wont you turn around and stay right here
Where the daffodils bloom and the unicorns sleep
Oh wont you let me take you out on another drive
Where the roads are wide and never ending

This girl i knew, she once said she likes me
No, but later she said it was just a joke
She wanted money and things just like every other
In hope her life starts to get better
No, all i wanted was some real love
Things could wait and money just ain't my thing
I don't know how this song can sound so sad
When all i feel is joy and mirth beneath

Oh wont you turn around and walk away
where the sun cries and the moon quakes
Oh wont you let me shake your hands
Where the lifelines, they cease to exist

Disconnected

Share the light with the butterflies
I draw circles on this wall
This wall, that closes in and out
As time draws mazes in my head
She sighs a dead tear on her cheek
I draw a smiling frown on mine

How we try to be who we are not
And yet we say we are nothing at all
How we wake up to find out we never really slept
And yet we dream all the time

Share the darkness with the ghosts
I draw walls around my door
My door, that is always closed
As mazes draw time lags in my head
She tries to strangle herself with wires
I draw knives to cut mine off

How we pretend to share all the time
And yet give nothing at all
How we try to stay connected
Though wires, walls and time

That Old Hag Down The Farm

On a green marshy farm
An old hag, she rants
About the surprise and alarm
Of the new war, the town cranks

Clearly as she remembers
When she was a little girl
Her daddy along with the other plumbers
Gave that broken shower knob, a twirl

Out sprinkled some drops
Many green coins flew
And soon all the crops
Were cut to nothing more than few

So the mayor, who recently was elected
Corrupt, but charming, a merchant of "change"
On the black marshy farms, a green mine he seated
Selling "hope" to them, whose minds were out of range

He went on expanding his new found glory
Earning popularity from the masses,a subtle way to cheat
"We can Change", "We can do it", oh what a story!
Using naivety, just like a butcher does his meat

Like midas of old, he went on to sell his soul
Along with pots of gold, a superpower he claimed he was
Soon the greed was invaded by those who were addicted to coal
Madness and riots were replaced by most of his flaws

And so the town, now just a flat piece of land
Dried up and forgotten and raised down to hell
All that remains is the old hag and a taste so bland
Who sips the water and spits it back, down that new wishing well

Clearly as she wishes
When she was a little girl
The masses and the classes
Had not given that broken shower knob, a twirl

Optimistic

In my dreams, i have seen
A wave of sunrays, gushing

In my dreams, i have seen
A pool of clouds, rippling

In my dreams, i have seen
A shadow of horizons, forming

In my dreams i have seen
A mirage of sand dunes, castling

In my dreams, i have seen
A mist of fogs, reappearing

In my dreams, i have seen
A flock of birds, orchastrating

In my dreams, i have seen
A shower of ice cream, raining

In my dreams, i have seen
A labyrinth of love, simplifying

In my dreams, i have seen
A landfill of black holes, shutting

In my dreams, i have seen
A race of ambitions, galloping

In my dreams, i have seen
A cluster of galaxies, uniting

In my dreams, i have seen
A freedom of souls, rising

In my nightmares, i have seen
Dreams of me, sleeping
