Disconnected

Share the light with the butterflies
I draw circles on this wall
This wall, that closes in and out
As time draws mazes in my head
She sighs a dead tear on her cheek
I draw a smiling frown on mine

How we try to be who we are not
And yet we say we are nothing at all
How we wake up to find out we never really slept
And yet we dream all the time

Share the darkness with the ghosts
I draw walls around my door
My door, that is always closed
As mazes draw time lags in my head
She tries to strangle herself with wires
I draw knives to cut mine off

How we pretend to share all the time
And yet give nothing at all
How we try to stay connected
Though wires, walls and time

that was fantastic. While it was very morose and I should be concerned, the way you put it out in words makes me feel that you have all your senses.

Scripting tragedy is different from living in it.
